## Patient & Staff Experience Finalization

Release 2.8.0 finalises the daily Baltique OS experience for the two primary user groups:

- patients;
- clinical and operational staff.

It establishes two canonical entry points:

and a final experience-quality control panel:

## Staff experience

The staff workspace presents role-specific priorities, active tasks, overdue work, HOLD/NO-GO cases, today’s appointments and operations, open conversations and quick access to the functions required by the current role and site context.

## Patient experience

The patient home presents the current stage of care, clinical readiness, laboratory tests, documents and consents, payments, next patient-facing steps, appointments, messages and the Magdalena virtual patient guide. Internal staff tasks are not exposed to the patient.

## Visual system

The Premium Rose & Cream design layer is loaded last and applies consistently to the shell, forms, search, tables, alerts, role workspaces, patient-facing screens and responsive mobile/tablet layouts. Dark theme support remains available.

## Safety

The release keeps automatic patient messaging and automatic clinical decision-making disabled. It does not enable automatic signing, GO/HOLD decisions, OR stage changes or go-live actions.

## Deployment

Deploy first to staging, run `/upgrade_2_8_0.php`, test every staff role, test the patient home using synthetic data, run the experience audit and one Runtime Preflight. Production use still requires staff UAT, privacy/security review, browser/device testing, backup/restore proof and formal clinical/operational approval.
